Welcome to Cevys. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Cevys platform, including our website, AI-powered resume builder, and all related services. By creating an account or using Cevys, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Description of Service

Cevys is an AI-powered resume builder designed for professionals in the Indian IT sector, including developers, testers, project managers, engineering managers, DevOps engineers, business analysts, and freshers. The platform provides:

  • AI-generated resume content (bullet points, professional summaries, skill descriptions).
  • ATS keyword optimisation based on job descriptions you provide.
  • Multiple resume versions tailored to different job applications.
  • ATS-friendly resume templates with PDF export.

2. Account Registration

To use Cevys, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account and use the service.

3. User Content and Ownership

You own your content. All resume content, work experience, skills, and other professional information you provide remains your intellectual property. By using Cevys, you grant us a limited licence to process your content solely to deliver the service (generating resumes, AI suggestions, and ATS optimisation).

We do not claim ownership of any content you create using Cevys. You may export, download, and use your resumes for any lawful purpose.

4. AI-Generated Content

Cevys uses AI to generate resume content, including bullet points, summaries, and descriptions. While we strive to produce accurate and professional content, you acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content is a suggestion and should be reviewed before use.
  • You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all content in your resume.
  • Cevys does not provide career advice, legal advice, or guarantees of employment outcomes.
  • ATS keyword matching improves compatibility but does not guarantee selection by any employer or ATS system.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Cevys to:

  • Create resumes containing false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your qualifications.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI models or algorithms.
  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Abuse, overload, or interfere with the platform's infrastructure or other users' access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Privacy

Your use of Cevys is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using Cevys, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Service Availability and Modifications

We aim to keep Cevys available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue features of the platform at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cevys and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunities, data loss, or service interruptions.

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Cevys shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
